Registration for the ISCCM courses

Once selected, it is mandatory for the candidate to be an ISCCM member. (membership application procedure available on website www.isccm.org )
The course fee is Rs 4000/- for the IDCC which includes the registration & examination fee for the first attempt

For the IFCC the registration & examination fee is Rs. 4000/-
-
Fee should be sent as demand draft/at par cheque favoring “ISCCM” payable at Mumbai to the ISCCM secretary at the Mumbai ISCCM secretariat address at the time of registering for the course IDCC or IFCC as may be the case( before 1st April).

No hospital, institute or individual may levy any direct or indirect fee to an individual candidate in any relation to the certificate course. The only fee is that which is to be given directly to the society at the time of registration or repeat examination

Appointment letter from the teacher/institute on the institute/teacher letterhead certifying the candidate’s qualifications and mentioning the date of joining the course.

Mandatory requirements to be completed prior to exam

Certificate from the teacher/institute stating satisfactory completion of training. This training should include attendance at workshops including ACLS, hemodynamic monitoring & mechanical ventilation ,review courses etc.Information relating to these activities are available on the website. CoBaFolio competencies record should be duly filled.

Candidates with a basic qualification in medicine or allied subjects should undergo training for at least 3 months in anaesthesia with emphasis on airway management and use of anaesthesic drugs. (for IFCC)

Candidates with a basic qualification in anaesthesia should undergo training for at least 3 months in clinical disciplines relating to critical care (for IFCC)

Candidates for the IFCC must do a research project in this period and present a paper/poster at the ISCCM national conference. This should not be a case report. CoBaFolio competencies record should be duly filled.For candidates registering from a specialty ICU/hospital (Neuro/Cardiac etc) at least 50% training should be in a general medical/surgical ICU from a tertiary institute.
