The fellows of Indian College of Critical Care Medicine are hereby informed that the election for the posts of the
College Board for following posts for 2020-2021 will be held and nominations are hereby invited for them:-
- Vice Chancellor - 1 post
- Secretary – Elect – 1 Post
- Secretary – Elect, Accreditation – 1 Post
- Secretary – Elect, Examinations – 1 Post
- Secretary – Elect, Nursing – 1 Post

(a)Vice Chancellor
6.4 Election of Vice – Chancellor: Eligibility: He/She should be fellow of the college and have served on the board
for at least one term
(b)Members
6.1.1 He should be a fellow of the college and he should be teacher of the college run courses for the last four years
(IDCCM/IFCCM)
He is willing to work as Secretary Elect for one year followed by Secretary for the next one year in the designated
department ( Accreditation, College, Examinations, Nursing). Total duration two years.
One Fellow can apply only for one category of Secretary – Elect post.
Application procedure
The fellows wishing to serve as Vice Chancellor and Member of the College Board should apply for desired above
post and submit their Nomination form. The nomination paper shall set out the candidate`s name, address and the
office for which the candidate is nominated shall be proposed by one valid fellow and seconded by another valid
fellow. It shall be duly signed by the candidate signifying his/her willingness to stand for the election and to serve on
the College Board if elected. The nomination should be accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs 11800 ( Rs Eleven
thousand eight hundred only) payable at Mumbai in favour of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine for a
non -refundable Nomination fees. These nominations must reach the ISCCM Secretariat office not later than 01st
June 2019 by 4.pm. A short biodata not exceeding 200 words with scanned signature of candidate in PDF should be
emailed to education@isccm.org. A passport size photo (jpeg) of candidate against white background also should be
emailed to education@isccm.org
The Election commission shall inform by email the contesting candidates of all the nominations received for the post
they are contesting, and if any one wishes to withdraw his/her nomination, he/she should inform to the Election
commissioner in writing or from the official e-mail id (i.e registered with ISCCM headquarters previously) on or
before 10th June 2019 by 4 PM.
The date of online web based election will be last week of June. From 08.00 hrs. on the Monday of election to 1700
hrs. on the Friday of election. Only fellows of the College will be eligible to vote for this election
Canvassing is allowed with following instructions.
- No canvassing during national or regional or local or institutional conferences, CME, workshops, conclave etc.
From declaration of election to declaration of results. (15th May to 30th June)
- No canvassing with standees, pamphlets, flyers, brochures, or through pharma companies or through their
representatives.
- Candidates can use social media for canvassing.
- If someone found guilty, he/she will be debarred from ISCCM election process for life time at local as well
national level.
